TOP 3 Brunch Spots In New York City

Everyone loves some serious #foodporn, and so do we. Charge your phone and get ready to snap some good shots for Instagram and Snapchat or simply get ready for the best breakfast in town. We tried them all and here are our favourite spots in Greenpoint, Soho and West Village.

5 Leaves

Start your day in the cool neighborhood Greenpoint in Brooklyn. 5 Leaves is well known for their pancakes and for having the best granola in town. Also, it is a true local hang out, the queue is always ridiculously long, but well worth it! They open their doors at 8am, not quite the time for the local creative scene to start the day, so you might be lucky. If not, one of the best Vintage Shops (Beacon’s Closet) is just around the corner and always a tempting place to kill some waiting time.

Location: 8 Bedford Ave, Greenpoint

Jack´s Wife Freda

A Soho-located hip spot and local blogger and trendy foodies hang out. Whoever follows the best known fashion blogger based in the New York City might have seen pictures popping up on instagram already. It is a cosy little eatery with a decent breakfast selection. It is always busy so get ready to queue or swing by their second location (Carmine St), which only opened in January.

Location: 224 Lafayette St, Soho

Cafe Cluny

A french bistro located in West Village, off 8th Ave. Just how you expect a french bistro to be: Cafe Cluny is cosy and chic. Strong coffee, great french toast and simple but delicious salad on the menu. The crowd hanging out at Cafe Cluny is exactly how you would expect people to look like hanging out at a french bistro, hidden in a off-the-track neighborhood: parisienne, stylish and uber-cool.

Location: 284 W 12th St, West Village
