Fee´s All Time Beauty Classics

As a professional gypsetter and night owl, my attitude is usually quite straightforward when it comes to beauty products: they simply have to fit in those little plastic bags you get at the airports, be quick to apply, and work in every situation.

Essie Nail Polish “wicked” #49

Finding the perfect bordeaux colour nail polish turned out to be a challenge for me. I dont like it if they are too red, too black or too shiney. I was looking for one in a brown shade rather than red, and I found it: Essie Nail Polish #49, a.k.a “wicked”. This is my absolute favourite nail polish if I wear colour on my nails. I have used it for more than a year now and I still love it. Everytime I go back to the US (Essie is about 3 times the price in Germany than in the US) I build up my stock of the “wicked” nail polish.

Mac Lipstick Honey Love

Looking for that perfect daytime lipstick that you can easily wear to the office? Well, I wouldn’t really say it’s a challenge, but my indecisiveness made it one. Mac is usually the go-to destination for all your beauty solutions, and so it was in my case. Honey Love is a great nude colour that doesn’t make you look like a ghost. It has proven to be one of my most faithful companions over the years.

Kiehl’s LIP BALM #1

Most of you girls probably struggle with dry lips too, don’t you? Why is that such a common thing among us girls? Well, I am very pleased to announce that I found THE holy grail of lip balms! Kiehl’s Lip Balm is not only called #1, it is number one. It helps soothe dry lips and shield them from the drying effect.

Tip: I always have one in my bag for during the day and another beside my bed to apply just before I go to sleep.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap

For a while (mainly as a teenager), I thought skin problems were a thing reserved for your adolescent years. Well, I am not complaining, but now and then an unwelcomed visitor can still appear on my face. To fight and even prevent them, I use Clinique’s liquid facial soap. I feel like Clinique has saved me from my reliving puberty, and I now have far fewer problems with my skin.

Plus: if you happen to get some of it in your eyes, it doesn’t burn as much as other products do. I am a pro in applying products where they should not be applied, so this is experience talking.

Kiko Full Coverage Concealer

Very light skin contrasted by a dark circles no matter how much I sleep: this is my life. I have probably tried every concealer that has ever existed on the market. At least that’s how it feels. From Mac to YSL – I have tried them all. My biggest worry was never that they wouldn’t cover my dark circles, but they wouldn’t last as long as I wanted them to. When I tried the only £6 concealer from KIKO for the first time I was the happiest girl on the planet. A concealer that covers the dark circles PERFECTLY and also stays on for a full day/night? FINALLY!

Crabtree & Evelyn avocado, olive and basil hand care

My sister gave this hand cream to me for my birthday last year and I have been using it ever since. It is one of my most faithful companions, especially during the colder months of the year. Well-manicured hands are an absolute must for girls (and boys!) and soft, well-hydrated skin is – to me – the most important part. Plus: the packaging is rather small, so you can easily fit it into a bag or coat pocket.
